1. The service

HTML Viewer provides browser-based tools for writing, formatting, validating, previewing, importing, saving, and sharing HTML and related code. Features may change as the service is improved.

2. Your code and content

You retain ownership of code and content you create or import. You are responsible for having permission to use that content and for reviewing code before running or sharing it.

3. Acceptable use

• Do not use the service to distribute malware, phishing pages, harmful scripts, or illegal content.
• Do not attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service or connected systems.
• Do not submit private credentials, secrets, or third-party personal information through public sharing or community features.

4. Local storage and saved data

Editor drafts, saved versions, projects, favorites, code history, and settings may be stored in your browser. Clearing browser data, using private browsing, or changing devices can remove or isolate that information. Keep independent backups of important work.

5. Community submissions and links

If you submit a community preset or share link, you authorize HTML Viewer to display and distribute that submitted material. Do not submit confidential code or material you cannot lawfully share.

6. Third-party services

Some features connect to third-party services, including Discord, analytics providers, status services, AI providers, and content delivery networks. Those services have their own terms and privacy practices.

7. No warranty

The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” Validation, formatting, previews, generated content, and other results may contain errors. You are responsible for testing code before production use.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HTML Viewer and its operators are not liable for lost code, lost data, business interruption, security issues, or indirect damages arising from use of the service.

9. Changes and termination

These terms may be updated and access may be limited or discontinued when necessary for security, maintenance, legal compliance, or misuse prevention. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.

1. Information stored in your browser

HTML Viewer uses browser storage for editor drafts, file names, saved versions, projects, favorites, import history, appearance, preview preferences, and notification settings. This information normally stays on the device and browser profile where it was created.

2. Code you enter or import

Code entered in the main editor is used to provide editing and preview features. Imported code history is stored locally unless you intentionally use a sharing, community, contact, or connected AI feature.

3. Information you submit

Contact form submissions send the entered name and message to a configured Discord webhook. Community preset submissions send the provided preset details to Discord. Discord may process and retain that information under its own privacy policy.

4. Analytics and service information

The service may request aggregated website analytics such as visitor counts, view totals, and general geographic source. Technical providers may receive standard connection information such as IP address, browser type, and request time.

5. Third-party features

AI, image generation, status, analytics, fonts, icons, and other external features may contact third-party services when used. Community preset submission sends the supplied details and a text-document attachment containing the full preset link to Discord. Do not send secrets or sensitive personal data to those features.

6. Retention and deletion

You can remove local history cards, saved versions, projects, and other stored information through the interface or by clearing site data in your browser. Information already submitted to a third party may be subject to that provider’s retention controls.

7. Security

Reasonable safeguards are used, but no browser storage or internet transmission is completely secure. Avoid storing passwords, private keys, access tokens, or confidential production data in the editor.

8. Children’s privacy

HTML Viewer is not directed to children under 13, and the service should not be used to submit a child’s personal information.

9. Your choices

You can disable notifications, sounds, or live preview, choose an appearance, delete local records, and choose whether to submit information through connected features.
